LivIT
Welcome to LIVIT, a gathering of young people over the age of 11yrs who are looking for a place for fun and friendship with games and opportunity to ask questions about the meaning of life, and be introduced to the hope that we have as Christians in Jesus.
LIVIT is welcome to everyone, those who have a Christian faith and those who are seeking to know what it means to be a Christian.
There is space for young people to chill and just experience life together, make friends and support each other. There is an atmosphere of welcome and fun, alongside evenings with food and on occasion worship. In the near future there are plans to begin a Youth Band, so if you would like to be part of a group/band there is an opportunity waiting for you.
We recently enjoyed the Brave Church sharing time with us all together at Bridge Community Church, and had some exciting games and food followed by teaching and worship. On these occasions we are joined by our LIVIT partners and friends from other Churches like MCC, Bury and St Peter’s Cof E, Bury and others who will join us too. We enjoy gathering for our Annual Camp in Yorkshire and have an Academy weekend at the beginning of September.
LIVIT is more than just a youth group or club it is a Community of young people who are looking further into a relationship with God and a place where there is encouragement and a place to be equipped to live out that relationship and faith, hence the name LIVIT – we are on a journey, all learning together, and finding out how studying the Bible helps us LIVIT and live out our lives better.
YOU will be most welcome – we generally meet on a Sunday between 6.45pm and 8.30pm. Please come along you will be most welcome.
