Sunday church

• Morning – 10:30am

Our morning meeting is at 10.30am each Sunday. Our meeting starts with tea & coffee where we welcome all, both new and old. Worship starts with hymns and songs led by the worship team.

For school years Reception to Year 6 there are separate Sunday School classes during the main Bible teaching.

At The Bridge, we embrace diversity and warmly welcome everyone from various backgrounds and nationalities. Our community is a vibrant mix of individuals of all ages, united in our faith and commitment to worship together.

We find joy in creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and reverent. We find joy in celebrating God’s presence through heartfelt worship, which includes singing, prayer, and listening to the teachings of the Bible.

Beyond our shared worship experiences, we value the connections we build within our community. Whether it’s engaging in meaningful conversations after services or participating in various fellowship activities, we cherish the opportunity to grow together and support one another.

Our preachers are dedicated to delivering messages that are relevant to contemporary life while remaining faithful to the teachings of the Bible. With a focus on understanding and application, we strive to make God’s word accessible to all.

Prayer for the Persecuted Church

Last Thursday of the Month

8pm at Church

Praying for our brothers and sisters who are persecuted for their faith in Jesus. This is a monthly prayer meeting following our challenge in the scriptures laid down in Hebrews 13 verse 3. Remembering fellow Christians who are being persecuted for their beliefs that we share with them.

We meet the last Thursday of the month a bridge community church, 8 PM to 9PM. We pray for specific people from different countries, We are given a general background as to their particular situation. Some of this is sad and makes one weep but again that is what we do as brothers and sisters as we stand with them. It Challenges our own faith.

There are also people we draw inspiration and amazement of how God is sustaining them and how God never stops in moving his spirit. Release international send the information to us and we give thanks for that. The feedback from my brothers and sisters is please continue to pray. Got speech to us and says pray pray pray. I am listening. Please come and join us on the last Thursday of the month at 8P.

Carols in the Market

In the middle of December, we invite our town to join us one Sunday evening in the market for a carol service. Always a popular event, with a chance to buy some great food from the traders at the market, before a 6pm start for carols, stories, and a reminder of what Christmas is all about. The date for this changes every year, but will be advertised by the market, and by the churches around Radcliffe as the day approaches.

Church on Tuesday

Church on Tuesday is an opportunity to get together and worship God during the week.

It takes place on the first and third Tuesday evening of each month, 7:30pm-9pm.

We meet at various venues, but we are currently being hosted by Wesley Methodist Church;

During the meeting we enjoy a time to catch up over hot drinks, singing contemporary worship songs, and Bible teaching.

The best way to find out what it’s all about is to come and give it a try. We’d love you to see you there.

Community Football 

IN 2019 we established our football outreach. This is a local grassroots project, aimed at providing a positive presence for young people in our community, through football. Every Friday evening we meet together to learn football skills, and to learn about what God has to say to us. This is a completely free group.

During the winter, we meet at Bridge Community Church. 6pm-7pm.

During Summer time (from April to October) we meet at Close Park in Radcliffe. Also 6pm-7pm.

These Friday groups are for children of Primary School age.

During the Summer we also gather at Close Park on a Sunday evening (5pm-6pm) for a community kickaround. This is for anyone who wants to play football. All ages and abilities welcome.

We also have an adults’ football group (18 years +). We meet regularly for 5 aside / 7 aside friendly games. And we also try to have some 11aside games with other local church teams. Many of the guys who come are not Christians, but we always pray before a game, and the Christian faith is openly discussed. Each year we go to the National Christian Football Festival, where we get to compete against teams from all over the country, and have the opportunity to spend time together.

Exploring the Christian faith

We realise not everyone has grown up in a Christian home or has had the opportunity to explore the Christian faith for themselves.

Lots of people don’t consider themselves religious and have never read the Bible. You still might find that the Christian faith is for you.

Happy Women and Mums Club

Happy Women and Mums is a parent/carer Toddler group run by members of the Church. Our aim is to provide a welcoming place for mums to meet, to overcome the isolation of being at home in the week & to provide a safe place for children to play, with a wide variety of toys under their adults supervision. Currently we have no waiting list and we welcome new adults and their children to come for a visit. Regrettably we are not in a position to accept childminders.
